We had to say goodbye to Jeremy during the last episode because he had to stay away from Mystic Falls and vampires, live a normal life and go to an art school or so we thought. Well, maybe a hunter will always be a hunter? Take Alaric as an example as he was the only one who knew about Jeremy's real plan behind leaving Mystic Falls. He didn't like it when he had become a vampire and good for him that he's once again a mortal.
Now let's go back to Jeremy Gilbert. Did you know that there was no Jeremy Gilbert in The Vampire Diaries books? Elena Gilbert had no younger brother (or cousin as Jeremy isn't really her biological brother) in L.J. Smith's series. She had a little sister instead named Margaret.
Jeremy Gilbert was portrayed by the 26-year-old American actor Steven McQueen. When I first saw The Vampire Diaries I though he was familiar so I made sure by searching him on Google. He starred in the 2010 film Piranha. I know TVD started at 2009 but I only started watching it in 2012. (I'm not from the U.S.)
Elena had always been protective of her brother and she really loves him. He and Elena suffered from so many problems all through out the six seasons. (How many times did Jeremy die again?)
Speaking of six seasons, let's take a look on these six photos of Jeremy.
Season One:
Yup, that was his very first appearance. Nice hair Jeremy!
Season 2:
On this one, he looked less cooler than the first picture but he had that nice guy look.
Season 3:
This looked almost like his hair from season one except of the slightly shorter hair and no gel maybe?
Season 4:
Sorry if this photo was a bit dark. This was taken during a scene inside a secret tunnel or something (hence, the darkness). He was talking with Bonnie while she was doing some 'witchy' thing.
Season 5:
The bangs ! ! i want to cut that out of his forehead. (LOL). His smile was adorable though.
Season 6:
Okay, so this was during his last appearance on the 14th episode. What did he say to Alaric again?
Oh, here it is:
"Turns out a social life isn't as much fun as kicking vampire ass."
